Mercure Telford Centre Hotel, Telford

The hotel room was well set out and very comfortable, but unfortunately, it was next to the entrance by the lift which I requested not to be near as I am a light sleeper. The small desk fan provided was far from adequate. The service from the hotel manager was thoughtful and accommodating. The location was ideal for working in the area and great for staying close to the event I attended. The dining experience wasn't very good, with dried up and tasteless food. The hotel facilities were above the smokers area.

I was not impressed with the rooms; they were cold with no spare blankets or heating, and there was no information provided about the restaurant, menu, or pool. However, the hotel is easily accessible with generous car parking. The room needed a bit of upkeep, as it was hot, had mold on the ceiling, and the net curtain was frayed.

The hotel's location was convenient for my business trip, although it could use some updating. The service was friendly and helpful, especially regarding special dietary needs. However, the dining experience was subpar due to undercooked food. The rooms, though not all equipped with air conditioning, were eventually ready and decent. While there were improvements to be made in some areas, the staff's courteousness stood out as a positive.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were nice, the breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were lovely, but unfortunately full of dirty cobwebs. The rooms were very warm, which was a bit uncomfortable.

The hotel had spacious and clean rooms with a large TV and good channel selection. Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning during our stay, which was uncomfortable given the high temperatures. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the location was convenient for our plans. However, the dining experience was poor with overcooked items and limited options.
